I
am Gene Birky and will be very much assisted by my wife, Melinda, as we
make an effort to continue the work that Bob and Janet Hayes have been
carrying on. Please take time to personally thank the Hayes' for their
hard work over the past months. Both are still very involved in other
areas of the GCS campaign and we are happy to pick up this task as they
lighten their load.
Please take this opportunity also to remove yourself from this mailing
list if this communication is not one that you desire to continue receiving.
Please do not feel any guilt at making such a request as there will be
no judgment. We are all very busy and if you are involved in other areas
to such an extent that this is not helpful communication, the please do
yourself the favor of sending us a quick note and your name will be removed.
By way of introduction.... This is our second year at Grace. Melinda and
I have two students. Matthew is in 8th grade. Rachel is in 6th grade.
We are excited about the prospects of seeing first hand what God is going
to do for GCS. We believe that prayer provides the front row seat to watching
what God wants to do in each of our hearts and with our school. We ask
that you would pray that God would give Melinda and I a vision for what
our role is and the understanding to implement all that He reveals to
us.
Prayer requests:
1) Wisdom and direction for the Steering Committee.
2) Receptive constituency: families, churches, grandparents.
3) Major Donor Thrust - key contacts within the next few weeks:
4) Stamina, Wisdom, Relationships within the campaign that they would
reflect faith and a gracious spirit.

them.
